Patricia Anne Nelligan

Patricia Anne Nelligan, 58, of Lutz, FL, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024. She was born December 22, 1965 in Chicago, IL to Patrick and Eileen (O’Driscoll) Sullivan. She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from Loyola and her Master’s Degree in Oncology Nursing from Northern Illinois University. Patricia retired as a Pharmaceutical Representative working for AstraZeneca. She was proud to publish her own book, Peppy Up, a story to help children struggling with childhood obesity and was a proud member and advocate of the Northern Illinois Diabetes Coalition. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, family, and friends. She is loved and will be missed by her beloved sons, Timothy (Jennifer) Nelligan and Kevin Nelligan; the father of her children, Gregory Nelligan; sisters, Maureen (Tom), Sheila (Wally), Bernie (Mark), Eileen (Mike); cousin, Marie; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and beloved son, Ryan Nelligan. There will be a visitation Friday, April 26, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home in Belvidere, IL. A funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL. Interment in Belvidere Cemetery. Condolences can be shared with the family at www.belviderefh.com.
