Ann “Busia” Josephine Bozeman, 101, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, October 31, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1924, in Chicago, IL. The daughter of Franciszek and Aniela “Nellie” (Hyc) Walkosz. Ann married the love of her life, Firmin LeClercq “Lee” Bozeman Sr. August 30, 1947, in Chicago, IL. Ann and her husband Lee owned and operated Superior Coating. She enjoyed working the concession stands at her son Lee’s football games and was a coat check for concerts held at The New Place in Algonquin, IL, where she met many famous bands. Ann was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere and a former member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Cary, IL. She was also an avid bingo player. Ann was known to be a tremendous caregiver to her brother and sister. She is loved and will be missed by her daughter-in-law, Laurie Bozeman; grandchildren, Michael Paul (Marcy) Bozeman, and Heather Ann (Zachary Hansen) Bozeman; great-grandchildren, Anna and Hope Bozeman, Noah Bozeman, Paisley and Kane Bozeman-Hansen; nieces and nephews, Joe, Amy, Pam, Becky, and Steve. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Lee Bozeman Sr., loving son, Lee Bozeman Jr., siblings, Joe, Helen, Mary, nieces, Marian and Theresa. A special thanks to Roberta, Mary, Sandy, and Rob. There will be a visitation Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. There will be a funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL. Interment in Windridge Memorial Park & Nature Sanctuary in Cary, IL.
