Betty J. Claude

Betty Jeannett Claude, 89, of Plainfield, IL, formerly of Belvidere, IL passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born March 19, 1934, in Aurora, IL. The daughter of the late Harrold and Edna (Berger) Meyers. She married the love of her life, Donald Edward Claude on July 3, 1954. She was a member of the Bel Air Subdivision Bible Study and Bunco Club, along with a member of the Poplar Grove Wings and Wheels Museum and the Vintage Aero Club.  She is loved and will be missed by her beloved husband of 70 years Don Claude; nieces, Penny Campbell, Renee Trahan; nephews, Tim (Carol) Burd; great nieces, Rachel Burd, Alyssa Trahan; great nephews, Trent Trahan, Quinn Trahan. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Harriet O’Jean, Darlene Burd; brother, Marvin Meyers; nephew Barry Burd. There will be a visitation from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, IL.
