Obituary
Carol Sue Beasley, 75, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully Friday, February 3, 2023 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born September 6, 1947, in Harriet, AR. The daughter of the late Hartford and Mildred (Lawrence) Balentine. She married the love of her life, David Lee Beasley, May 1, 1964, in Rockford, IL. She loved to travel and be outside in her garden. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family. Her grandchildren were her life. She is loved and will be missed by her children, Brian (Tammy) Beasley, Michael Beasley, and Sherri (Craig) Robertson; grandchildren, Chad (Cassie) Beasley, Erica (Keith) Vanacker, Nichole (Jimmy) Godsey, Leah Beasley, Kiryn (Adrian) Martinez; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Patterson; special nieces, Renee, and Heidi Hansen; special friend, Pat Freeman; special caregiver, Natasha Holden. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, David. Private burial at Shattucks Grove Cemetery in Belvidere, IL. There will be a celebration of life to be announced in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family, they will be planting a tree in her memory at Belvidere Park. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.belviderefh.com.
