Carol Sisson

Carol Marie Sisson, 96, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Northwoods Care Centre in Belvidere, IL. She was born on Thursday, July 19, 1923 in Belvidere, IL to the late Millard and Marie (Ackerman) Poyer. Carol married the love of her life, Mark A. Sisson, on Tuesday, June 5, 1945 in Belvidere, IL. Carol is loved and will be greatly missed by her sons, Curtis (Debbie) Sisson, Verne (Sue) Sisson; daughter, Dawn (Mike) Laffey; grandchildren, 5; great grandchildren, 7. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Marie; beloved husband, Mark; sister, Jeanne Oliver. Funeral services will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL.
