Clarence "Bevo" Paulson

Clarence George “Bevo” Paulson, 84, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born on June 7, 1938, to the late Gage and Mildred (Ferguson) Paulson in Paw Paw, IL. He married the love of his life, Beverly Jean Hawkey on October 5, 1958. Bevo owned Paulson Heating Company for over 45 years. He enjoyed fishing with his Coon Creek Caster Club buddies and his family. Bevo was also a lifetime member at VFW Post 1461, and Belvidere I.O.U. Club. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle with his friends at the VFW. He was a die-hard Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Bevo is loved and will be deeply missed by his son, Michael (Peggy) Paulson; daughter, Merilee (Glenn) Underwood; grandchildren, Jordan (Jessica Book) Paulson, Kylee (Zak O’Connor) Loveridge, Kelsee (Zach Jarvi) Loveridge; great grandchild, Enslee Jarvi; brother, Kenneth (Ilah Buitenwerf) Paulson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gage and Mildred, beloved wife, Beverly. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. There will be a visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be Private. Memorials can be made to the family in Clarence’s name.
