Clarence "Tom" Thomas Hancock

Clarence “Tom” Hancock, 83, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025. He was born July 13, 1942, in Elizabeth, IL. The son of Clarence Oscar and Edna Viola (Koehn) Hancock. He married the love of his life, Theresa Cecilia Zierer on October 19, 2001 at Holy family Catholic Church in Rockford, IL. He retired from Rockford Clutch, formerly Borg Warner after many years of service. He enjoyed working on cars, taking long rides with Theresa, and working in his yard. He was also a lifelong Green Bay Packers Fan and enjoyed coffee with friends at local coffee shops. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is loved and will be missed by his sons, Thomas Edward (Tammy) Hancock, Curtis Allen (Tina Bral) Hancock; daughters, Debbie Bohlman, Sherry (Chuck) Hendrickson, Pam Bohlman, Roberta Bohlman; grandchildren, Brandon (Tiffany) Smaha, Austin Smaha, Mitch (Kylie) Hendrickson, Nicole King, David Casey, Pharon (Guy) Banwart, Chelsea Hancock; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Hayes, Tatum, Makayla, Blake, Cameron, Emily, David Jr., Lillian, Kyler, Penelope, Paisley, Caden, Brooks; brother, Dennis Hancock. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Theresa Hancock; grandson, Leslie Hendrickson; brother, Cleland Hancock. There will be a visitation Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M.
