Connie Sue Stemwedel

Connie Sue Stemwedel, 54, of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford after an unexpected illness. She was born June 2, 1969 in Belvidere, IL. She graduated from the Boone County Center in Belvidere. She lived at Milestone Group Apartments since October of 1999. She had many special friends and staff at Milestone. She was a member of the Milestone Singing and Dancing Group and would perform at the Boone County Fair every year. She loved to collect The Wizard of Oz items. She is loved and will be missed by her beloved parents, Denny and Marcy Stemwedel; beloved sister, Ann Marie (Mike) Tallard; nieces, Taylor (Charley) Pike, Brooke (Nicholas) Tessman; great nephews, Braxton and Oliver; aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a visitation Monday, March 11, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home in Belvidere, IL. A service will begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Private burial.
