Danny L. Huff

Danny L. Huff, 82, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born June 18, 1943, in Belvidere, IL. The son of Joseph and Elinore (Koltz) Huff. He graduated from Belvidere High School in 1961. There he met his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Jeanette Lucille Kastning. Danny retired as a master tool and die machinist from Arnold Engineering in Marengo, IL, after 44 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed woodworking, taking scenic drives, and watching country western movies, especially John Wayne. He is loved and will be missed by his sons, Joseph (Dawn) Huff, Timothy (Kathryn) Huff, Patrick (Kristine) Huff; grandchildren, Daniel Huff, Samantha Huff, Carter Huff, William Huff, and Easton Huff; great-granddaughters, Alice and Celia; brother, Michael (Jan) Huff; sister-in-law, Janice Huff. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife of 54 years, Jeanette Huff; brothers, Gordon Huff and Ronald Huff. There will be a visitation Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. There will be a second visitation Monday, March 30, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. Interment in East Bonus Cemetery in Garden Prairie, IL. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations will be used to benefit local charities.
