Darlene Bergeron

Darlene Ann Bergeron, 84, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 19, 2021. Daughter of the late Earl and Bernice (Rehlfedt) Nordmeyer, she was born on Friday, March 20, 1936 in Belvidere, IL. She worked at AG Communications for 36 years. After retirement, she volunteered with RSVP and The Keen Age Center. She loved to help others. Darlene enjoyed quilting, traveling, spending time with her family. She was an avid card player and would run Euchre tournaments at the local moose club every Tuesday. She loved to have a good time and was known for her “big laugh”. Darlene is loved by many and will be deeply missed by her daughters, Brenda (David) Beach, Sandra (Doug) Pecor; son, Michael Bergeron; grandchildren, Jesse Morrow, Josh Bergeron, April Morrow, Bruce Morrow, Nicole Mathison, Kristina Boruschewitz, Jeffrey Pecor, Jacob Bergeron, Michael Bergeron; 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Bernice; daughters, Karen Mathison, Debbie Boruschewitz; siblings, Earl, Susan, Kathy, Linda. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Garden Prairie Cemetery in Garden Prairie, IL. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
