Donald E. Palmer

Donald E. Palmer,90,of Belvidere passed away Wednesday July 31,2013 at Kindred
Hospital,Sycamore. He was born January 14,1923 in Orangeville,Il. the son of William Karl and Mary(Blunt)Palmer. He married Frances M. Kendall September
6,1941 in Belvidere.

A Belvidere resident for most of his life. He retired from Knox Motors after 30 years of driving semi trucks for them. A member of Zion Lutheran Church,Belvidere.
A member of the Belvidere Masonic Lodge,the Tebala Shrine and Freeport Consistory. Also a member of the V.F.W.

He is survived by his wife,Frances M. Palmer. Daughter,Susan(Dale)Rather. Son,
William Donald(Janice)Palmer. Grandchildren,Nicole(Chris)Vincent,Matthew
(Amber)Rather,Karen(Bruce)Boettcher,William Kevin(Sara)Palmer. 9 Great
Grandchildren. 1 Great Great Grandchild. Several nieces and nephews. Preceded
in death by his parents,daughter,Sandra in infancy,Sister,Virginia Keyes,brother,
Wilbur Palmer.

Funeral service Tuesday August 6,2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church with
Rev. Karl Otto,pastor officiating. Entombment Highland Garden of Memories.
Visitation Tuesday at church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to Zion Lutheran Church or the Keenage Center.
