Dorothy Molander

Dorothy Grace Molander, 92, of Cherry Valley, IL passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at her home. Daughter of the late Archie and Minnie (Fiebrantz) Osterberg, she was born on Monday, October 8, 1928 in Chemung, IL. Dorothy married the love of her life, Glenn Molander on Sunday, March 16, 1947. She enjoyed playing bingo and pinnacle, bird watching, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy is loved and will be deeply missed by her sons, Les (Joan) Molander, Randy (Sherry) Molander; daughter, Elaine (Terry) Ressler; grandchildren, Kim (Chris) Shaffer, Shannon (Kirk) Hess, Lisa Casey, Sara (Tyler) Paynter, Philip (Barbara) Ressler, Bret (Renee) Ressler, Carrie (Josh) Bohling; great grandchildren, Savannah Shaffer, Marie Shaffer, Cassie Shaffer, Griffin Hess, Casey Reynolds, Harper Reynolds, Emma Paynter, Abby Ressler, Thomas Ressler, Jacob Ressler, Grace Ressler, Ella Ressler, Tye Bohling, Quinn Bohling; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Minnie; beloved husband, Glenn; grandsons, Daniel Molander, Tom Casey; siblings, Richard Osterberg, Donald Osterberg, Kenneth Osterberg, Warren Osterberg, Russell Osterberg, Ruth Wagner. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Heartland Hospice and Lynette for their loving care. There will be a private graveside service at Flora Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
