Edward Suhr Obituary

Edward Earl Suhr, 90, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Crescent Care in Elgin, IL. He was born on July 23, 1931, in Belvidere, IL to the late Earl and Blanche (Midkirk) Suhr. Edward served his country in The United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married the love of his life, Shirley Miller, on October 9, 1955, in Belvidere, IL. Edward is loved and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Shirley; son, Larry (Susan) Suhr; grandchildren, Adam Suhr, Alicia Suhr, Allison Suhr, Abbigail Suhr, Anderson Suhr; great grandchild, Emma Suhr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Blanche; sister, Virginia Schaubach. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will take place at a later date in Belvidere Cemetery.
