Eldon W. Lindstrom,79,of Belvidere passed away Sunday July 7,2013 at OSF
St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born May 9,1934 in Rush City,Minnesota
the son of Axel Wilbert and Dorothy(Anderson)Lindstrom. He graduated from Rush City High School and the College of Advanced Traffic in Chicago. He
married Ruby M. Gray September 24,1955 in Rush City.
He spent 35 years in Elmhurst,Il. then moved to Babbitt,Mn. before moving to
Belvidere 3 years ago. He was a Traffic Manager for Templeton-Kenly,the largest
manufacturer of hydraulic jacks,before retiring in 1991. Eldon was an avid outdoorsman,fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed woodcrafting. He was a member
of the Moose Lodge,the Cribbage Club and Pinochle club in Babbitt.
He is survived by his Wife Ruby M. Lindstrom. Sons,Allen(Pam Diesness)
Lindstrom,David(Michele)Lindstrom,Brian(Teresa)Lindstrom. Daughter,
JoDel (Steven) Lafferty. 6 Grandchildren. 3 Great Grandchildren. Brother,
Virgil(Karen)Lindstrom. Preceded in death by his Parents,Brother,Gerald
Lindstrom.
A memorial service will be held Thursday July 11,2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Belvidere
Funeral Home. With Rev. Allan R. Buss officiating.Visitation Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until time of service. Any donation to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
