Emily Toni Theresa Saenz, 19, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 14, 2003, in Rockford, IL. A few words from Emily’s mother Julie. “My sweet Emily, you were the gift from God. You showed the true meaning of unconditional love. My heart is forever shattered. Your smile melted our hearts and we will be reunited again. I love you forever.” Emily is loved and will be deeply missed by her parents, Julie (Danny Yerk) Saenz; Oma, Kathy Hirsch; Tantie, Liz Putz; siblings, Trisha (Ben) Humphreys, Julia (Eric Lang) Saenz, Tiffany (Tim) Stephens, Brett Saenz, Jason Saenz, Dean (Katie) Saenz, Jerry (Teresa Downing) Saenz; nephews, Christopher Stephens, Zennan Lang, Hayden, Zentz, Brianna Stephens, Seth Lang, Anton Lang. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Anton Hirsch. There will be a visitation on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL. Interment will be held at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Belvidere, IL.
