Gene Wilson

Gene Wilson,77,of Belvidere passed away Monday June 24,2013 at OSF
St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born June 25,1935 in Hamblen County,
Tennessee the son of Charles Wilson and Elizabeth(Strange)Wilson-Black.
He attended school in Whitesburg,Tennessee. He married Joyce Osborn June
17,1985,she preceded him in death in 2011.

Gene was retired from the Belvidere Fire Department and also drove truck for IMC International for many years. He attended Grace Family Church in Rockford.
A member of Belvidere Masonic Lodge #60,Tebala Shrine and the Freeport Consistory.

He is survived by his son,Bob(Mary)Wilson,Belvidere. Grandson,Brian Wilson. Great grandchildren,Cameron & Katie Wilson. Brother,William(Delores)Wilson,
Belvidere.Numerous nieces and nephews. Stepdaughters,Glenda(Ted)Lorenzini,Belvidere,Robin(Rick)Campbell,
Genoa,Sue Cliffe,Belvidere,Jackie(Doug)Dickason,Belvidere,Laurie Grant,Aloha,
Orgeon. 9 Step grandcjildren. 17 Step great grandchildren. And his faithful companions April & LuLu. He was preceded in death by
his parents,wife,Joyce,Brothers Charles,James and Robert Wilson,Sister,Anna Tucker,step father W.E. Black and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service Saturday June 29,2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Belvidere Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Manley pastor of Grace Family Church officiating. Interment Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m to 8:00
p.m.,Masonic service at 7:00 p.m.
