Gloria Ann (Wiedow) Davis

Gloria Ann Davis, 64, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully Thursday, November 21, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 27, 1960 in Fairmont, Minnesota. The daughter of Harry Ruben and Donna Fae (Neuenschwander) Wiedow. She married the love of her life, Charlie Joseph Davis January 28, 1978, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL. She worked for Syncreon in Belvidere until she retired in 2020. She enjoyed gardening and working on her flower beds. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She is loved and will be missed by her beloved husband of 46 years. Joe Davis, daughters, Elizabeth Ann (Alberto) Alvarez, Tonya (Ian) Clark; grandchildren, Alexander, Karly, Rylee, Payton, Keanu; brothers, Richard (Jenny) Wiedow, Martin Wiedow; sisters Jean (Fred) Mejia, Bette (Mario) Zepeda; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Michael Wiedow, and sister Lavonne Robles. There will be a visitation Friday, November 29, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, Illinois. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
