Gordon Dale Wirth

Gordon Dale Wirth,79,of Belvidere passed away Saturday June 29,2013 at
Serenity Home in Oregon,Il. He was born November 18,1933 in Belvidere the
Son of Joseph and Martha(Schnor)Wirth. He attended Belvidere Schools.
Served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. Married Frances Bates September 3,1955 in Baltimore,Maryland.

He served as a Boone County Deputy Sheriff and Chief Deputy Sheriff and also
with the Belvidere Police Department. He worked in the building trades and was a superintendant for Robert Stenstrom Company before retiring in 1996. A life
member of the Carpenters Union Local #792,member of American Legion Boone Post#77.

He is survived by his wife,Frances Wirth. Daughters,Kimberly Moir,
Susan(Bob)Leonard. Son,Dale Wirth. 5 Grandchildren. 4 Great Grandchildren.
Sisters,Marilyn Dole,Joan Allen,Loretta Hyser,Trudy Huseman. Brothers,
Michael(Stephanie)Wirth,Jeff(Kelly)Wirth,Keith(Judy)Wirth. Many Nieces and
Nephews and his Canine Companion E.T. He was preceded in death by his Parents,Aunt & Uncle Minnie and Cecil Morgan.

A Memorial Luncheon will be held Sunday July 7,2013 at 2:00 p.m. at American Legion Boone Post#77 on Chrysler Drive in Belvidere.
