Homer E. Royalty

Homer E. Royalty,91,of Belvidere passed away Friday July 12,2013 at
Maple Crest Care Centre,Belvidere. He was born September 8,1921 in
Washington County,Kentucky the son of Elisha Morgan and Artie Mae
(Pinkston)Royalty. Graduated from Sycamore High School in Sycamore,Il.

Homer moved to Belvidere in 1946,where he farmed in Spring Township and was a
member of The First Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening,bowling,going to
livestock auctions,antique shops and garage sales. Homer will be remembered
for his great sense of humor,kindness, and willingness to always lend a hand to
others. He will be dearly missed by family,friends and members of the Belvidere
community.

He is survived by Nephews,Leroy Royalty,and Kim Royalty of Arizona,Nieces
Ellen Royalty,Nancy Ellen and nephew Paul Royalty,great nieces,nephews,and
Cousins. Preceded in death by his parents,2 brothers,James Leland and Lillard,
Sister,Katherine Royalty.

A special thanks from the family to the staff at Maple Crest Care Centre,Brenda
and David Quast,Mardell Papka,Nyla Cadie,and his friends at Sheffield Meadows
for their support and help these past few years.

Visitation Monday July 22,2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Belvidere Funeral Home. Graveside Service Wednesday July 24,2013,2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrodsburg,Kentucky.
