James Mulligan

James V. Mulligan (Muggs), 79, from Las Vegas, NV and previously of Belvidere, IL passed away Friday December 14, 2018. Born May 22, 1939 to Vincent and Margaret Mulligan. James was a 1957 graduate of Sycamore High School, Veteran of the US Marine Corps Korean era and retired from Chrysler Belvidere plant (UAW Local 1268) in 1996. Predeceased by his parents, wife Velma R Mulligan (Johnson) and sister Patricia. Survivors include brothers Keith Mulligan of Johnson City, TN and Thomas Mulligan of Montrose, CO. sons James Hummer of Charles City, IA. and Steve Hummer of Springfield, TN. Grandchildren Katherine, Katelynne, Caroline, and Eric. Great grandchildren Jacqueline, Gabriel, Elora, Elius and Selina. Memorial visitation/service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Highland Garden of Memories 9800 IL Route 76 Belvidere, Illinois and a reception immediately after at the Belvidere Moose Lodge #295 575 Beloit Road Belvidere, IL.
