Jane Whitt

Jane Francis Whitt, 88, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was born on July 16, 1934, to the late Frank and Helen (Spahn) Acker in Middleton, WI. She married the love of her life, Billy Whitt, on March 8, 1958. Jane is loved and will be deeply missed by her son, David (Kim) Whitt; daughter, Sandra Laird; stepdaughter, Tina (Donny) Dain; grandchildren, Amanda (Pete) Brian Edgren, Kayleigh (Nathan) Peterson, Elizabeth (Tim) Peters, Kourtney (Evan) Peterson, Michael Whitt; step grandchildren, Jessica (Paul) Prellwitz, Rebecca Grundman; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Gillis, Jeanette Kurt; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen; beloved husband, Billy; 11 siblings. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at St. James catholic Church beginning at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be held at Highland Garden of Memories. Memorials can be made to the family in Jane’s name.
