Jennifer Deutschmann

Jennifer Lynn (Carlson) Deutschmann, 45, of Belvidere, IL passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, September 5, 2022. Jenn, as she preferred, was born on October 4, 1976, in Rockford, IL. She was the daughter of David and Barbara (Casey) Carlson. She married the love of her life, Eric Deutschmann on October 7, 2000. Jenn Graduated from Belvidere High School and was a proud member of the class of 1994. She received a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and a master’s degree from Northern Illinois University. She worked at Henkel Corporation in Elgin, Rockford Products, and Woodward Governor Company for the past 15 years. Family was everything to Jenn, and she, along with Eric gave their daughters, Gina and Renee, a lifetime of memories. She will be remembered for her love of life. She was the happiest when she could share adventures with her family. Hiking and skiing in Colorado to scuba diving in the Atlantic Ocean. Her laugh was infectious and her giving nature was endless. She will be forever missed by all that knew and loved her. Jenn is loved and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Eric; daughters, Gina, Renee; parents, David and Barbara (Casey) Carlson; sister, Kristin (Mitch) Thompson; niece, Cecilia; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Alisa Deutschmann; nephews, Ethan and Evan; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a visitation on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL. Interment will be held at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Belvidere, IL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the family.
