Jim Ford

Jim Ford, 60, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1963, in Lombard, IL to the late Edward and Victoria (Adams) Ford. He went to college at Northern Illinois University and liked to tell people he received a B.S in B.S. He enjoyed working in the yard, floating in his pool, driving his toys, listening to live music, and cooking good food for family and friends. Jim also took great pleasure in teasing his grandchildren. Jim is loved and will be deeply missed by his wife, Joanne; children, Harrison (Marissa) Ford, April (Tyler Schaible) Ford, Justin (Susan) Carner; grandchildren, Chase Ford, Sloane Carner; siblings, Colleen Santino, Tim Carmazino, Darleen Carmazino, Mike (Nicci) Haley, Kathryn (Todd) Ruder, Paula (Augie) Ambriz, Carol (Juan) Martinez; father and mother in law, John and Barb Majernik; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Victoria; first wife, Susan. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL beginning at 11:00 A.M. A visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be private. Memorials can be made to ALS Association in Jim’s name.
