Joe Douglas Moyer, 69, of Mauston, WI, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at his home. He was born November 28, 1956, in Ottumwa, IA. The son of James Verdon and Barbara Jean (Herold) Moyer. He attended Belvidere High School where he enjoyed playing sports. Joe married the love of his life, Andrea Sheahan on June 12, 2001, In Las Vegas, Nevada. H retired after many years working at Chrysler in Belvidere. He was a proud member of the UAW Local 1268 and the Belvidere American Legion Post 77. He was an animal lover and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also was very successful in finding many arrowheads. He was a fun-loving man and had friends from all walks of life. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He is loved and will be missed by his beloved wife of 25 years, Andrea; loving children, Jana and Ben; loving mother, Barbara Moyer; cherished siblings, James (Char) Moyer, Jeff (Linda) Moyer, and Laurey Larsen; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James Moyer; brother-in-law, Mike Larsen; sister-in-law, Shelly Sadewater. There will be a celebration of life Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the American Legion Post 77 in Belvidere, IL.
