John "Jack" McGinn

John “Jack” Joseph McGinn III, 84, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at his home. The son of the late John Joseph II and Violet (Huber) McGinn, he was born on Friday, March 9, 1934 in Chicago, IL. Jack married the love of his life, Louise Augusta VonKline, on Saturday, May 2, 1959 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Chicago, IL. Jack is loved and will be missed by his sons, John J. McGinn Jr., Patrick P. (Donna) McGinn, Paul M. (Mary) McGinn; daughters, Kimberly McGinn, Mary (John) Joyce; daughter in law, Marianne McGinn; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Donna (Ron) Basso, Marge (Bob) Iwanski; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Louise; son, Edward McGinn; sisters, Sister Marie McGinn, Cathy Manley. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. There will be a second visitation on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will begin at 10:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL.
