Joseph Cannici

Joseph Cannici, 81, of Belvidere, IL passed away on December 11, 2023. He was born in Oak Park, IL on August 19, 1942, to the late Peter and Jennie (DeMaio) Cannici. He married the love of his life, Caroline Parent on February 2, 1964, in Melrose Park, IL. Joseph is loved and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Caroline; daughter, Tina Marie (Mike) Butir; son, Joseph Peter Cannici; grandchildren, Michael Butir, Lauren (Ryan) Clancy, Anthony Butir, Rachael Cannici; brother, Salvatore (Rosanne) Cannici; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Jennie; brother, Peter (Joan) Cannici. There will be a Catholic Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Memorials can be made to the family in Joseph’s name.
