Judy Marie Decker

Judy Marie Decker, 70, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, May 1, 2026. She was born February 21, 1956, in Belvidere, IL. The daughter of Donald R. and Hazel M. (Burch) Decker. She graduated from Hiawatha High School in Kirkland, IL, in 1974. She started working at Warner Electric in Marengo, IL, in 1977 and retired after 30+ years. She then worked at Walmart in Belvidere for 7 years. Judy loved the color Hot Pink. She was known for her nails and always had to have them done. She was a Die-Hard Chicago Bears fan and an avid Chicago Cubs fan. When she wasn’t catching up on the latest General Hospital episodes she loved to spend time with her family. She is loved and will be missed by her beloved daughter, Shannon Decker; cherished granddaughters, Jaylea Decker and Taylor Dewitt; loving sisters, Linda Decker and Kathy Blair; nephew, John Blair III. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Hazel Decker; brothers, Randy Blair, John Blair, Don Decker Jr. There will be a celebration of life Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Belvidere American Legion.
