Kathleen Koenig Obituary

Kathleen Joy Koenig, 75, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Swedish American Hospital in Belvidere, IL. She was born on December 25, 1946, in Chicago, IL to the late Charles and Emma (Henschel) Choske. She married the love of her life, Edward W. Koenig Jr. on March 4, 1964, in St. Louis, MO. Kathleen is loved and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Edward; son, Edward C. (Christine) Koenig; granddaughter, Amanda (Zak) McManaman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles, and Emma; brothers, Charles Choske, Herman Choske, John Choske, Bill Choske; sister, Florence Werderitch. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL beginning at 1:30 P.M. Memorials can be made to the family in Kathleen’s name.
