Kenneth A. Spoden,71 of Belvidere passed away Saturday September 1,2012
at home. He was born February 7,1941 in Janesville,Wisconsin the son of Edward J. and Norma(Bartkowski)Spoden. Attended school in Janesville. He married Carol
K. Nelson August 18,1962 in Capron,Il. Ken worked in sub assembly for Chrysler Corp. in Belvidere until retiring in 2001. A member of U.A.W. Local #1268,an N.R.A. member and an avid Packers fan. He also enjoyed collecting firearms and
and was a licensed gun dealer for 20 years. He is survived by his son,Kenny T.(Julie)Spoden,Belvidere. Daughter,Wendy(Chandler)Klatt,Belvidere. Grand
Children,Ashley Spoden,Shania Spoden,Andrea Fiepke,Shawnee Klatt. Great
Grandchildren,Madison and Payton Spoden. Brothers,Johnny(Monica)Spoden,
Mike(Bonnie)Spoden both of Janesville. Sisters,Lorraine Baysden,Maryland,
Jeanette Dominey of Janesville. Special sister in law,Gail Spoden,Belvidere.
He was preceded in death by her parents,wife,Carol K. Spoden,Brothers,
Richard Spoden,Edward Spoden Jr.,Robert Spoden. Funeral service Wednesday
September 5,2012 at 1:30 p.m. in Belvidere Funeral Home,with Rev. Brian A. Geary
Pastor St. James Catholic Church officiating. Interment Belvidere Cemetery.
