Lisa Jo (Daniels) Vance

Lisa Jo Vance, 60 of Garden Prairie, IL  passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side.  She went to be with the Lord and loved ones that have gone before her on Monday, April 22, 2024,

Lisa was born on February 25th, 1964 in Belvidere, IL to Richard " R.J." Daniels and Roberta (Wright) Daniels.  She graduated from Belvidere High School in 1982 and was a member of the FFA. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere. 

Lisa was the owner of J & D Oil, Inc., a partner with her sister Angela in the family farm business, and the proud owner of J & D Countryside Marathon. Nurturing and building a business that was founded by her father and brother Judd. 

Living on a farm Lisa was able to enjoy her horses that she loved so much, Dixie & Ella.  She was a member of the Cart Potatoes drill team with her "Mini's" and Fjord's.  She enjoyed participating in parades, taking them to the Boone County Fair for feed sack races, obstacle courses and trail rides with friends.  Lisa also couldn't pass up a sale, treasure hunting was one of her favorite hobbies.  She created many wonderful memories spending time with her family at Lake Ripley.  Lisa was known for her creative Halloween costumes and enjoyed getting together with friends to make Christmas cookies.

Lisa was a loving mother and grandmother first and foremost.  She enjoyed watching her boys show their animals at the fair, she saw countless baseball, basketball and football games being their greatest supporter.  She cherished her granddaughter Blakely and every moment of time spent with her.

Lisa is loved and will be missed by her husband of 35 years, Jeff Vance. Beloved sons, Ben (Abby) Vance with a grandson coming in June.  Luke (Jessica) Vance and granddaughter Blakely.  Cherished sister, Angela J (Yvonne) Daniels, sister-in-law Sandy Daniels, chosen sister, Annette(Chuck) Byers.  Several nieces and nephews and special friend Dorothy Brotz.  She will be missed by "The Boys" Franks and Boo Boo.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents: R.J. and Roberta, brother Judd, grandparents Ray & Hazel Daniels and Wayne and Sadae Wright.

There will be a visitation Monday April 29th, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL. A second visitation Tuesday from 10:00a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.  Interment will be in Lawrenceville Cemetery in Garden Prairie, IL.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.  Condolences can be shared with the family at www.belviderefh.com
