Lola Louise Boettcher, 64, of Elgin, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, June 20, 2025, at Journey Care in Barrington, IL. She was born January 24, 1961, in Belvidere, IL. The daughter of Billy Charles and Hazel Louise (Mitchell) Thornsberry. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Boettcher, Angela (Matt) Lannefeld, Stephanie (Ryan) Bebar; grandson, Jaxon Lannefeld; brothers, Marion Thornberry, Ed Thornberry, Chuck Thornsberry, and Ray Thornberry; sister, Charlene Wentzel; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and significant other, Julian Sanchez. There will be a graveside service Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
