Manuel L. Santoyo, 90, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at his home. He was born on Thursday, March 27, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Tony and Enadina (Lopez) Santoyo. He married the love of his life, Shirley Powers, on Sunday, March 28, 1954 in Chicago, IL. Manuel is loved and will be deeply missed by his children, Charlotte Santoyo, Rene’e (Jim) Vukelich, David Santoyo, Angela (Greg) Doss, Angel Santiago-Santoyo; grandchildren, Vanessa, Tyler, James, John, Keely, Brian, Venus; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Ritchie and Frank; sisters, Pauline, Renie, Wonnie; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Enadina; daughter, Tammy; grandchildren, Michael, Tanner; great grandchild, Timothy; brothers, Victor, Tony. Services will be private with a memorial graveside service at a later date. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
