Manuel Valdes, 46, of Rockford, IL passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at his home. He was born on February 10, 1975, in Belvidere, IL to the late Julian and Carmella (Reyes) Valdes. Manuel is loved and will be deeply missed by his son, Julian Valdes; daughter, Jasmine Valdes; grandchildren, Joselyn Wood, Jude Wood; brothers, Neto Rodriguez, Juan Martinez; girlfriend, Kimberly Lara; special sons, Marcus Cole, Luke Streight. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Carmella; sister, Sandra Perez. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 17, 2021, also at the funeral home. A visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, IL. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
