Margaret "Connie" Kopp,89 of Belvidere passed away Wednesday June 19,2013
at Northwoods Care Centre,Belvidere. She was born February 18,1924 in Dixon,Il.
the daughter of John and Mary(Brechon)Conroy. She graduated from St. Mary's High School and St. Anthony School of Nursing. Married Morton Frank Kopp June 27,1950 in Milwaukee,Wi.
A Belvidere resident since 1945. Connie was a registered nurse and worked at Highland Hospital,Polio Foundation,St. Joseph Hospital,The Chrysler Plant in Belvidere,Dr. Kaske's and Dr. Gerald Peterson's offices. Connie and her husband also owned and operated Kopp's Bakery for many years. A member of
St. James Catholic Church,Belvidere. An avid golfer and member of Bel-Mar Country Club where she was Senior Ladies Club Champion one year. A member of Ladies Auxillary American Legion Boone Post #77,John Hugo Kaiser V.F.W. Post #1461 Auxillary,Ladies of the Moose Chapter 1052.

Mass of Christian burial Monday June 24,2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Catholic
Church with Rev. Brian A. Geary,Pastor officiating. Interment Highland Garden of
Memories. Visitation Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Belvidere Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for the Poor Clares Monastery.
