Martin F. Moran

Martin F. Moran,89 of Belvidere passed away Sunday August 19,2012 at his home.
He was born April 15,1923 in Terre Haute, Indiana the son of Gerald J. and Henrietta( Murdock ) Moran. He graduated from highschool in Terre Haute
and attended Purdue University. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII. Married Clara E. Griner June 19,1948 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Indianapolis,Indiana. A Belvidere resident for the past 15 years,previously from
Indianapolis and Shreveport,La. Martin was a tool and gauge inspector for Western Electric until retiring in 1981. A member of St. James Catholic Church, Belvidere.
A 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus Belvidere Council 735 and Past Grand Knight serving two terms with Council 8861,Shreveport,La.
He is survived by wife Clara E. Moran. Sons,Martin F. Jr.,Daniel J., Andrew G.,
Timothy J. Daughter,Annette M.(Haut). 9 Grandchildren. 10 Great Grandchildren.
Brother, Tom. Sister, Catherine. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 Grandson.
2 Brothers. Funeral Mass Friday August 24,2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. John Earl,Parochial Vicar Officiating. Interment private.
