Mary Z. Parks,76,of Belvidere passed away Wednesday July 3,2013 at Neighbors
Nursing and Rehab in Byron,Il. She was born December 3,1936 in Winnsboro,
Louisiana the daughter of Charlie Obens and Opal Gertrude(Porter)Franks.
She attended school in Fort Necessity,Louisiana.

Mary worked as a seamstress,machinist and her greatest pleasure was having fun
and spending time with her children and grandchildren and teaching them about the "Lord".

She is survived by her daughters,Jessie Metz,Belvidere and Frances Straskowski,Wi. Sons,Johnnie Lee Parks and Jerry Parks both of Tn. 18 grandchildren. 29 great grandchildren. Sisters,Irene Daniels,Estelle Roland,Ruby
Franks,Nora Jean Ogden. Brother,Charles Obens Franks Jr.,all of Louisiana. She
was preceded in death by her parents,husband,Jesse Parks,brother,T.F. Franks and her beloved Queenie. Visitation Friday July 5,2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at
Belvidere Funeral Home.
