Maxine Frances (McNulty) Parlow, 76, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 5, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born April 13, 1948, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. The daughter of Francis and Beatrice (Finch) McNulty. Maxine lived most of her life in Tunnel City, Wisconsin. She married the love of her life, Donald Parlow September 17, 1966 in Tomah, Wisconsin and then moved to Belvidere. She worked as a beautician in the Belvidere area then as a homemaker until their children were older. In 1984 she took a job at Belvidere High School in the cafeteria where she retired after 27 years. She is loved and will be missed by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald Parlow, children, Shelby (Matt) Williams and Shane (Amy) Parlow; grandchildren, Colton (Marissa Sotelo) Williams, Faith Williams, Keely (Logan Phillips) Parlow, Alyssa Parlow, Zoey Proper. Sisters-in-law, Verna Jean Robinson, Sharon Rowell, Robin Parlow, Bonnie Parlow. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant grandson, Matthew Shane Williams, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vernon and Amelia Parlow; brothers-in-law, Kenneth and Gerald Parlow; special friends, Ray and Dora Baumbach. There will be a visitation Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M.
