Melba June Koch

Melba June Koch, 75, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, January 5, 2026, surrounded by her family at UW Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. She was born July 26, 1950, in Tiptonville, Tennessee. The daughter of Walter I. and Mable E. (Elam) Meeks. Melba married the love of her life, Paul J. Koch on July 12, 1969, in Chicago, IL. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafting, home décor, cooking, baking, and thrifting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is loved and will be missed by her beloved husband, Paul Koch; children, Krista (Brian) Curry, Paul (Ambyr) Koch Jr., Brian (Brandi) Koch; grandchildren, Paul Koch III, Bailey (Noah) Crews; sister-in-law, Kay Koch.
