Michael Joseph Kinney Jr., 64, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home. The son of Michael Joseph Sr. and Eileen (Tetlow) Kinney, he was born on January 13, 1957 in Chicago, IL. He was a simple man. He loved animals and enjoyed trains. Michael is loved and will be deeply missed by his mother, Eileen; daughters, Mary Kinney, Rachael (Sam) Kinney; grandchildren, Peter, Nathaniel, Isabelle, Sophiae, Liam, Silas, Mackenzie; brother, Patrick Kinney; special friend, Joan Ptaszek. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Sr. Interment will take place at St. Michael the Archangel cemetery in Palatine, IL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
