Norma Jean Simons, 75, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her home. Daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn (Peterson) Uting, she was born on Tuesday, September 4, 1945 in Belvidere, IL. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Ronald Simons on Saturday, March 7, 1964 in Poplar Grove, IL. Out of this union came son, Chris (Karen) Simons; daughter, Dr. Sheila (Lisa) Simons; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Simons. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Evelyn; brother, Gerald (Jerry) Uting; sister in law, Patricia Uting; many beloved dogs. There will be no visitation or funeral. Jean asks for those wishing to offer their condolences to do so by making a donation to a no-kill animal shelter in her memory.
