Patricia Roden

Patricia Ann Roden, 84, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Northwoods Care Centre with her children at her side. She was born on Sunday, March 17, 1935 in Pecatonica, IL to the late Carl and Leona (Martin) Bergmann. She married the love of her life, George Roden Jr., on Saturday, October 22, 1955 in Belvidere, IL. Patricia is loved and will be deeply missed by her sons, Mark (Nancy Knight) Roden, Larry Roden, Garry Roden; daughter, Teresa (Dan) Cox; grandchildren, Sam Roden, Sarah (Kahdeem Cadet) Roden, sister, Mary Lou Bergmann; sister in-law, Peggy Bergman; close friend, Tim Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Leona; beloved husband, George; brother, Bob Bergman; sister, Eleanor Nilsen; daughters in-law, Marilyn Roden, Renita Roden. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL with Rev. Bob Camacho officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be private at St. James Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of Pat’s caregivers. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
