Phillip Long

Phillip Lee Long, 75, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home. Son of the late Roy T. and Mae (Brown) Long, he was born on Monday, January 21, 1946 in Belvidere, IL. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Phillip married the love of his life, Linda Crull, on Friday, July 3, 1970 in Rockford, IL. Phillip is loved and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Linda; sons, Eric Long, Phillip Long; daughter, Stephanie (Scott) Koedam; grandchildren, Zachery, Joshua, Kaitlynn, Kimberly, Chloe, Cooper; great granddaughter, Emma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mae; brothers, Ted Long, George Long. There will be a visitation Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Belvidere, Illinois. A service will start at 11:00 A.M. Inurnment in Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, Illinois. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
