Rebecca Lamb

Rebecca Lamb, 78, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. She was born on September 4, 1947, in Chicago, IL. The daughter of Robert and Regina (Thornton) Henrich. She graduated from Maine West High School in Des Plaines, IL, and then went on to receive her Master of Art History from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL. Rebecca married the love of her life, Allan Lamb on January 9, 1986, in Bloomington, IL. She worked as a Museum Docent for the Cincinnati Museum Center for 20 + years. Rebecca was a member of the Sinnissippi Quilt  Guild of Rockford and was a prolific quilter. She was also a history buff, a voracious reader, gardener and animal lover. She is loved and will be missed by her loving sister, Rhonda (Michael Clark) Settle; brother, Robert (Gail) Henrich; niece Robin Lynne (Ryan) McWilliams; nephew, Garret David Settle; beloved cats, Mystery and Posey. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Allan. There will be a visitation Monday, January 5, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. There will be a celebration of life at 12:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Senior Connections. ATTENTION, due to a family allergy, if you send flowers, please do not include flowers in the LILY family, especially STARGAZER LILIES or EUCALYPTUS GREENERY.
