Renee Elaine Shelton, 49, of Belvidere, IL passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. She was born on January 8, 1974 in Belvidere, IL to Carol Raymond and Ronald Bertram. Renee loved being with friends and family, especially with her two sons who she cared for so deeply. Renee graduated from Belvidere High School, class of 1992. She eventually went on to beauty school and became a hairdresser. She worked for Fuzion Studios and Bespoke Beauty Bar for 14 years doing what she loved for her clients. Renee had an infectious energy of positivity no matter how dark or gloomy the day was, and could make a room laugh with no issue. Those traits, and many other wonderful things about Renee will be missed by so many. Renee is loved and will be deeply missed by her sons, Evan Hernandez, Eli Hernandez; parents, Carol and Lee Raymond, Ronald Bertram; brother, Regan (Gail) Gray; nephew, William Gray; niece, Emma Gray; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL beginning at 1:00 P.M. A visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorials can be made to the family in Renee’s name.
