Reynold Gordon Johnson, 95, of Rockford, IL, formerly of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was born on Tuesday, October 6, 1925, in Belvidere, IL to the late Oscar and Mary (Johnson) Johnson. He married the love of his life, Marion Leora Berkley, on Wednesday, June 12, 1948, in Crystal Lake, IL. Reynold is loved and will be deeply missed by his sons, Rick Johnson, Daniel (Dana Fulmer) Johnson Berlin; grandchildren, Ryder Berlin, Annika Berlin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar, and Mary; beloved wife, Marion; 9 siblings. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service beginning at 11:00 A.M. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, IL. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
