Rita Gamboa Obituary

Rita Gamboa, 96, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home. Daughter of the late Refugio and Maria De Refugio (Hernandez) Gamboa, she was born on November 13, 1924 in Zacatecas, Mexico. She married the love of her life, Jose Ramon. Rita is loved and will be deeply missed by her son, Jose (Amparo) Ramon; daughters, Elida (Refugio) Robles, Olivia Acosta; grandchildren, Lupe Acosta, Coco Zeman, Jose Acosta Jr., Oscar Robles, Raquel Fuentes, Laura Acosta, Alejandra Robles, Juanita Gabitzsch, Rita DeLira, Jaqueline Acosta, Bonny Acosta; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Refugio and Maria; beloved husband, Jose; son, Benjamin Acosta. A funeral mass will take place at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will take place at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Belvidere, IL on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.
