Rita Wagner Paulson

Rita Wagner Paulson, 69, left her earthly life on January 15, 2022, in Kingman, AZ. She was born September 16, 1952 in Belvidere, IL to the late Wilbert A.”Silver” & Ruth (Osterberg) Wagner. Rita was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL. She spent her childhood in Garden Prairie, IL, and most of her adult life in Belvidere, IL. Later in life she moved to Kingman, AZ where she lived for over 20 years. Rita embraced life with passion and brought joy and laughter to a party. She was an avid Chicago Bulls fan. Slot machines were a favorite pastime of Rita’s, and she most enjoyed the machines that played songs when she won. Rita was a craft enthusiast and made all sorts of items including gnomes and wreaths. Rita is loved and will be deeply missed by her sons, Jeremy Darmon, Shane Freeman; grandson, Taylor Jason Darmon; brother, Jerry Wagner. Rita is proceeded in death by her parents, Silver and Ruth Wagner; son, Jason Darmon. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Garden Prairie Cemetery in Garden Prairie, IL. Celebration of life to follow at Rob and Stephanie Osterberg’s home at 10404 Woodstock Road in Garden Prairie, IL. Please join family and friends as we remember Rita.
