Robert (Bob) Lee Glorch, 91, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his five children. He was born on December 10, 1933, in Chicago, IL. The son of Edmund and Leitha (Hielman) Glorch. He graduated from Austin High School in Chicago and went on to serve our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bob married the love of his life and his high school sweetheart, Claudette Marlene Matthias on April 18, 1953, in Chicago, IL. He was a dedicated and hard working electrician and retired from the IBEW Local 134. Bob was very proud to be the Co-Captain of the Austin High School Football Team. He was a car enthusiast and an avid Chicago Bears fan. His fondest times being spent with his wife as they traveled numerous places together along with his many car rides with his son. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and simply enjoying life. He is greatly loved and will be missed by his children, Gordon (Sue) Glorch, Gail (Tim) Trone, Kurt Glorch, Kristine Kunavich, Giselle Lenover; grandchildren, Courtney (Scott), Kimberly (Junior), Hallie (Anthony), Nicolette (Michael), Hailey, Kelsey, Hannah (Logan), Abbey, Rachel; 12 great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law, Fred (Leah) Matthias. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Claudette, siblings, Foster and LaVerne.
