Ruth B. Keating

Ruth B. "Babe" Keating,85,of Cherry Valley passed away at her home Wednesday
July 24,2013 with her family at her side. She was born April 6,1928 in Belvidere
the daughter of William and Grace(Pageloff)Peterson. She attended Belvidere High School. Married William J. Keating November 10,1950 in Rockford.

A member of St. James Catholic Church,Belvidere. Babe was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching and feeding her birds at
home. But most of all loved to take care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband William J. Keating. Sons,Mike(Debby)Keating,
Dave(Wendy)Keating both of Belvidere. Daughter,Christine (Michael)Faith,
Belvidere. Grandchildren,Matthew Keating,Michelle(Rick)Lawrence,Amiee and
Meghan Faith,Alysha Keating. Great grandchildren,Emily and Evan Keating,
Levi and Hannah Lawrence,Janessa and Blaine Gray. Preceded in death by her
parents,brother,Percy"Pete"Peterson,Sister,Josephine Glee

Services and interment are private. Everyone is invited to join the family for a
Memorial Luncheon Monday July 29,2013 at 1:00 p.m. at John Hugo Kaiser V.F.W.
