Ryan Nelligan

Ryan Gregory Nelligan, 29, of Denver, CO, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was born on February 15, 1993, to Gregory and Patricia (Sullivan) Nelligan. Ryan grew up in Belvidere, IL. He attended Saint James Catholic grammar school, Boylan High School, and received his bachelor’s degree in business and music from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Ryan had a passion for music and cars. He was always an entrepreneur and developed a successful business renting cars on Turo in Denver, CO. Ryan loved playing piano, and guitar. He loved his friends, family, his fiancé Eduardo, and his dog Cooper. He loved helping others. Ryan had a very deep faith in God and this faith helped him through his illness the last few years. He was such a strong spirit, and we will miss him every day. We don’t know why God took him so soon. He would want us to remember his spirit, great memories, adventures, and celebrate his life always. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL at 11:00 A.M. A visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. Interment will take place at Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, IL.
